In June 2024, the Directors of Crowe Isle of Man LLC and Crowe Trust Isle of Man Limited travelled to the historic Belvoir Castle in Nottingham for the annual Accelerate conference.

Accelerate is a community of relationship focused, technology driven, value-based accountancy firms and a Business Associate of Crowe Global.

It’s 20 plus member firms gain access to accounting companies in more than 140 countries throughout the world.

This years theme was TREE: Technology, Relationships, Environment, and Evolve.

TREE was chosen to symbolise the interconnected growth and collaborative spirit of the Accelerate community.

With over 100 attendees, these events provide a great opportunity to build relationships and share experiences across the Accelerate group.

2024 saw 8 guest speakers deliver informative, enjoyable and inspiring sessions and speeches across the 2 days.

One of 2024’s most inspiring and motivational talks came from 1988 Winter Olympic ski jumper and one of Britain’s favourite athletes, Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards.

Eddie gave an insight into what can be achieved through perseverance and personal challenge, regaling the audience with stories of his arduous journey to reach the Olympics.
