The Isle of Man Government has published its medium-term response to COVID-19.
The document will be debated at the next Tynwald sitting which is 5th May 2020.
The plan will be updated at the next decision and implementation point which is 7th May 2020.
The 25 page document titled ‘Stay Safe’ sets out the framework for how the Isle of Man Government will, at the appropriate time, approach the easing of restrictions put in place to reduce the spread of the virus in order to save lives.

The 4 key principles documented are protecting life, maintaining critical infrastructure, maintaining public safety and confidence and supporting a controlled return to normality.
The document also provides specifics on the planing behind the three key stages of the response which are ‘stay home’, ‘stay safe and ‘the new normal’ – the Isle of Man is currently in the ‘stay safe’ stage.
The next decision and implementation point is due on 7th May 2020.
