The latest fixture saw table toppers Crowe Dragons take on their closest rivals Outcasts. Separated by only 16 points this game could have a huge role in deciding who will top the table come the end of the season.

First round of matches saw Peter Fergusson (Dragons) take on Peter Ginty (Outcasts) at 5. Pete F took a commanding 2 game lead before an outstanding comeback from Ginty took the next two games. The final game was a battle of fitness and determination with Ginty taking the final game 15-14, advantage outcasts.

At 4 Magnus Lamprecht (Dragons) took on Mark Henson (Outcasts). Both neck and neck in the rankings, however the result was far from with Mark Henson back to his old best with a crushing 45-24 victory. 2-0 to the Outcasts.

At 3 Jon Shepherd (Dragons) took on the much higher ranked Chris Cave. Whilst Jon was able to take the first game, Chris started to turn the screws and compounded the Dragons poor start to take the match 3-1 and with it the bonus 25 points for Outcasts.

At 2, Dragons were again outmatched by the inform Liam Davies. Oli Wait – the IOM Junior Champion has made an impressive adjustment to B league squash since his introduction in December. However Liam Davies was able to take the result despite some incredibly tough rallies, Oli just couldn’t kill them with Liam scrambling at times to stay in the game and his resilience paid dividends.

The final match saw the repeat fixture of Ben Peach (Dragons) vs Nathan Quilliam (Outcasts). The game played out differently with Ben taking an easy 3-0 and a consolation win for dragons on the night.

A strong result for Outcasts who moved 37 points clear with 3 games to go, and with Island Exhausts result moving them level on points with Dragons we have a 3 horse race to the finish! #WeAreCrowe
