  • Crowe Celebrates MBE Award with Local Charity

On Tuesday 10th September 2019, The directors of Crowe Isle of Man LLC were invited to the presentation ceremony at The Governors House, where the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group was awarded The Queen’s MBE for volunteer services on the Isle of Man after raising over 3 million pounds and building the Manx Breast Unit up at Nobles Hospital, which is changing and saving lives on the island.

Phaedra Bird director of Crowe said “We are very proud to have supported Manx Breast Cancer Support Group since 2017, sponsoring fun events together whilst raising awareness.
One of our own members of staff Kimberley Moughtin is a dedicated committee member and we were delighted to celebrate the MBE with her at The Governors House on Tuesday.
The charity committee is so committed and enthusiastic in their own spare time, when they have families and employment to consider. They really are non-stop!
The charity is now fund raising for 2 new Spectral CT Scanners needed for Nobles Hospital at a cost of £1.5 million and is pleased to announce it is now half way there and is able to order the first scanner.”

The Manx Breast Cancer Support Group continues to fund raise to equip and maintain the unit to its highest standard whilst making a better patient experience for Breast Cancer patients on the island. #BreastCancerIOM #WeAreCrowe
