We had a brilliant if cold, few hours up at Ballannette Park today for a tree planting event 🌳🌲organised by Alan and Stewart Clague of SCS for Isle Listen.

98 trees were due to be planted, all provided free of charge by SCS, meaning that Crowe’s donation could be used 100% to support Isle Listen services.

Massive thanks to Professor Peter Bridgewater for his valuable input. He was instrumental in helping the Isle of Man gain UNESCO Biosphere status, so it was fitting for him to be present to talk to those involved.

Isle Listen is a local charity with the passion and aim to equip children and young people with the self management skills to navigate the psychological and emotional challenges of the 21st century in school and employment.

Their initiative to highlight to young people that taking care of mental health is just as important as physical health, as well as providing a variety of support and training to both families and professionals in schools.

Isle Listen are aiming for a collaborative approach between both third sector and statutory services, to diversify and widen the approach to the planning and delivery of psychology services on the Isle of Man.
