For the second year in succession Crowe Isle of Man director Phaedra Bird has achieved outstanding results in her STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) examinations.
She received the highest marks of all STEP students in the Isle of Man in the Advanced Certificate in Company Law and Practice 2016/2017 examination as well as for the Overall Diploma in International Trust Management 2016, for which she received a trophy and a £500 donation sponsored by STEP to Graih and a £250 donation sponsored by RL360 to Women’s Aid, her two chosen charities.
In 2017 she achieved the highest mark in the Isle of Man for her STEP Trustee Investment and Financial Appraisal exam.
Phaedra said: ‘Continuous professional development and providing a consistently exceptional client experience are embedded in Crowe Isle of Man’s business culture and underpin the firm’s growth these past 30 years.
‘In a fast-changing and complex global industry, it is vital that accountancy practitioners are equipped with the highest standard of technical skills and expertise. STEP’s professional programmes provide precisely that level of support.
‘To have been recognised by such a respected worldwide association is extremely gratifying. Importantly, I will be able to share the deeper insight these qualifications offer with my colleagues and, together, strengthen the portfolio of fiduciary services available to clients of Crowe Isle of Man.’
